“After doing a thorough due diligence visit of several Assisted Living Facilities for Seniors, we found Vintage Las Palmas in Laguna Woods. This turned out to be the best decision we could have made for my elderly parents. They have a private apartment and a bunch of things to do. The most important benefit is that they get compassionate care from a very polite staff. The best way to describe this community is to call it a Cruise Ship on Moulton Parkway in Laguna Woods. Call Sue or talk to one of her staff members if you have a loved one that needs a positive environment and compassionate care.”

In honor of the first day of fall, and Fall Prevention Day, we’re encouraging ourselves and all our friends, family, residents and employees to understand there are straightforward steps we can all take to lessen the likelihood of falls by seniors.
When a loved one’s memory begins to fade from Alzheimer’s or other dementia the challenges can soon become overwhelming. And living with the evolution of dementia is simply tough. As trained and educated caregivers we understand and we believe in the importance of supporting families not only through our care services but by hosting support groups. Alzheimer’s support groups provide the emotional support and educational opportunities to understand what’s happening, what can be expected and best of all to know you’re not alone. If you’re in Orange County please join our Alzheimer’s / Dementia Support Group in Mission Viejo. Many of our communities offer support groups – please call your local Vintage community. We look forward to getting to know you.
